General Manager (Ready Mix Concrete Plant, based in Qatar)
Qatar

Responsibilities:

As the General Manager of the Ready Mix Concrete plant, you will have full responsibility and control over the plant production, marketing and financial activities. In conjunction with the Board of Directors, You will establish and implement overall business strategies consisting manufacturing, sales and marketing, procurement & logistics, human resource administration and finance. You will review and approves adequate plans for budget spending, planned outputs, labor, material and engineering efficiency, as well as head up the product marketing and sales team to maximize company profitability and growth.
You will collaborate with the respective department heads to define objectives in each area of operations, establish and maintain standards, promote best practices and act on any area with potential improvement. By developing and implementing viable strategies, you will lead the company towards organizational excellence and profit maximization.

Requirements:

In order to be successful you will have at least 15 years of extensive managerial experience; either from the cement, concrete, building material, or relevant industry. Experience handling large manufacturing operations from both technical and commercial perspective, with exposure to the Qatari construction market is essential.
