Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with key technical contacts at operators, brands, and ODMs/OEMs
  
• Facilitate and support the testing, acceptance, and technical support of Qualcomm products, coordinating with internal contacts and resources
  
• Provide hands-on, in-depth technical support of devices through logging and analysis, with a focus on device/network interoperability issues

Job Function

• Support Qualcomm licensees (ODMs/OEMs), private brands, and operators in the testing, acceptance and technical support of Qualcomm powered 3G devices in Indonesia and SEA markets.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product validation and testing of wireless devices (very strong network experience might also be considered)
  
• Strong knowledge of UMTS/HSPA/GSM/EDGE/GPRS
  
• Knowledge of CDMA is highly desireable
  
• Understanding of contemporary device requirements and homologation practices
  
• Strong debugging skills of UMTS devices using drive tests, logging, and post processing tools
  
• Knowledge of QXDM is a plus
  
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP device test specifications
  
• Good understanding of device operating systems, e.g. Android, Windows Mobile, BREW
  
• Experience with data protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP and tools like Ethereal
  
• Candidates with handset test experience at operators or with commercial handset OEMs are preferred for this position
  
• Fluency in Bahasa is required (to liaise with associate)
  
• Communication skills in English are required
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Excellent customer management skills
  
• Must be willing and able to effectively manage 3rd[1287323] party companies, e.g. testing services
  
• Must be willing to travel in the region
  
• Must be able to coordinate well within a cross-functional, global organization

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's, Electrical, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering. Master's preferred.
