Responsibilities

Job Summary Description:

This position is in the exciting area of ATM Self-Service Banking Solution. The PS Consultant will work with the PS Manager or Project Manager in the area of project implementation, system integration and system support.

    The primary responsibility is to deliver consultancy, application development, system integration and system support services to our clients (financial institutions) within the Self-Service Banking Solutions.
    To perform complex analysis, design, programming, and modifications of computer programs for software products and/or customer applications. Writes code and completes programming, testing, and debugging of applications. Determine procedures, and other documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs. Work with customers to add new or custom features to software products. Perform life cycle maintenance.
    To develop and maintain working relationships with key persons on the client engagement, to ensure the client’s needs are met in a professional manner.
    To understanding the strategic vision of both the client and of NCR Professional Services, and identifying and positioning services that fit within these visions.

Requirements

    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
    Required skill(s): IBM WebSphere, Java, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, J2EE, Servlets, Struts, JNDI, JSP, JDBC
    At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    Preferably Non-Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
    Has experience in business, technical, or professional discipline requiring application of critical thinking, logic, writing, and oral communication skills.
    Broad knowledge of major business functions and business strategies. Specific knowledge and experience in consulting methodologies and techniques desirable.
    BEA Weblogic Server; IBM Websphere ; Sun Application Server
    Methodology
    Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) ;System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);J2EE Design Pattern
    Have a solid foundation and understanding of software development concepts and principles.
    Possess passion for software development technology, strong analytical mind and problem solving skills.
    A team player, hardworking, self-motivated, initiative and willing to work long hours.
    Possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate well in English. Able to write business documentation in English.
    Must be able to conduct product demos and presentations in front of an audience.
    Willing to travel and possess own transport.
